Maybank Investment Bank Appoints Fad'l Mohamed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Kuala Lumpur, 2 March 2015 - Maybank Investment Bank (Maybank IB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Fad’l Mohamed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Maybank IB with effect from 2 March 2015. Fad’l will be assisting John Chong, Chief Executive Officer of Maybank IB and Maybank Kim Eng Group, in the investment banking business in Malaysia.
Prior to joining Maybank IB, Fad’l was the Managing Director of Maestro Capital Sdn Bhd, a licensed corporate finance advisory firm focusing primarily in M&A, fund raising and IPO, which he founded in 2004. He started his career as a lawyer with Rashid & Lee and had also previously served in other organisations including the Securities Commission Malaysia and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
