We would like to inform you that effective 20 August 2022, the below overseas fund transfer services will be permanently moved from the Classic website to the upgraded Maybank2u website. This is part of our ongoing efforts to provide you with a better banking experience.

Rest assured that all your saved favourites and transaction limit settings will remain the same.

Foreign Telegraphic Transfer
  • Automatic checks on your transfer details, to ensure you’ve filled in all important information
  • Secure2u authorisation, for better security

Western Union
  • New Credit To Account feature, this means your beneficiary can receive the money directly in their bank account, without visiting an agent
  • Low Credit To Account transfer fee, starting from just RM10

Visa Direct
  • Quicker access to saved favourites, so you can save time on transactions


Here’s how to find these services on the upgraded Maybank2u website:

Step 1: Visit https://www.maybank2u.com.my and log in with your existing M2U username and password

Step 2: Click on ‘Pay & Transfer’ at the top bar

Step 3: Go to the ‘Transfer’ tab

Step 4: Beside ‘Transfer To’, select ‘Overseas’

Step 5: Finally, choose a country, key in the amount, select the service you need and enter the transfer details
