Maybank2u MY App Unavailable in App Stores Soon, switch to MAE

Starting 30 June 2024, we will be discontinuing further updates on the Maybank2u MY app, and it will no longer be available for download from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery.

If you still have the Maybank2u MY app installed on your device after 30 June 2024, you may continue to access it until further notice. However, we strongly encourage you to switch to the MAE app, as it has all the functions that are available on the Maybank2u MY app and more — with an added comprehensive suite of banking and lifestyle features, as well as improved security measures to further safeguard your online banking experience.

What does the removal of Maybank2u MY app from the app stores mean? 

This means by 30 June 2024, the Maybank2u MY app will not be available for download. Updates to the app will also be discontinued.

If you have the app still installed on your device, you can continue accessing it until further notice.

However, we strongly encourage you to move to the MAE app to continue performing transactions without any interruption.

You can access all your banking accounts on the MAE app as usual by logging in with your M2U ID.

How can I access my account after the Maybank2u MY app is removed from app stores?

You can still continue to access your account on the Maybank2u MY app if it is still installed on your device.

However, we strongly encourage switching to the MAE app as it lets you bank seamlessly and can manage all your lifestyle needs.

Alternatively, you may access your account via the Maybank2u website at  www.maybank2u.com.my.

How will this impact online banking services?

This will not affect online banking services and you may continue to carry out your everyday banking activities as usual on maybank2u.com.my and the MAE app.

Will I be able to download the Maybank2u MY app from other sources?

The Maybank2u MY app will no longer be available for download from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery. Please do not download any .APK files from unofficial sources as they can compromise your device and make you vulnerable to malware scams. 

You are highly encouraged to download the MAE app as it lets you bank seamlessly and can manage all your lifestyle needs.
