Dear valued customers,

We regret to inform you that one of our employees at the Bandar Baru Bangi Branch has tested positive for Covid-19.

The said employee last reported to work on 29 May 2024. After reporting symptoms similar to that of Covid-19, the employee concerned was advised to get tested and unfortunately, was confirmed positive.

Upon receiving the information, we have immediately closed the branch/centre for deep cleaning and sanitisation. Detailed contact tracing is also being carried out to identify and inform those who had direct contact with the said employee.

As per MOH’s guidelines, our branch/centre employees who are identified as “people under investigation” (PUIs) will remain in self-quarantine and will undergo medical screening to ensure they are healthy before returning to work.

The branch/centre will be temporarily closed from 30 May 2024 until further notice.

In the meantime, you may perform all your essential banking via Maybank2u, Maybank2u Biz and Maybank2E from the safety of your home. Alternatively, you may visit other branches nearest to you or utilise our Self-Service Terminals for your banking needs.

Penutupan Sementara Cawangan Maybank Bandar Baru Bangi

Pelanggan yang dihormati,

Dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa seorang kakitangan kami di Cawangan Bandar Baru Bangi telah disahkan positif Covid-19.

Hari terakhir kakitangan tersebut bertugas di pusat/cawangan ini adalah pada 29 Mei 2024. Setelah melaporkan gejala serupa dengan Covid-19, beliau dinasihatkan untuk menjalani saringan dan malangnya, telah dikesan positif.

Selepas menerima maklumat, kami terus menutup pusat/cawangan ini untuk menjalankan proses pembersihan yang rapi serta sanitasi. Saringan kontak rapat akan dilakukan untuk mengenalpasti individu yang mempunyai kontak secara langsung dengan kakitangan tersebut.

Menurut garis panduan KKM, kakitangan pusat kami yang dikenalpasti “people under investigation” (PUIs) akan kekal memerhatikan kuarantin kendiri dan juga menjalani saringan kesihatan untuk memastikan mereka berada dalam keadaan sihat sebelum kembali bekerja.

Pusat/Cawangan ini akan ditutup buat sementara waktu dari 30 Mei 2024 sehingga diberitahu kelak.
