Beginning 6 March 2025, Secure2u authorisation via the MAE app will fully replace MSOS Code (SMS One-time Password) for all Maybank Cards online transactions. Secure2u authorisation via the MAE app is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the security of your online transactions.

Download the MAE App via Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery and activate Secure2u today to avoid any interruptions for your future online transactions.

To activate Secure2u on the MAE app, follow these steps:

Step 1: Tap ‘Secure2u’ under ‘Quick Actions’
Step 2: Complete the registration process
Step 3: Activate Secure2u at the nearest Maybank ATM

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Secure2u is an enhanced security measure which comes with a minimum 12-hour activation period upon activation for the first time or activation on a new device. This helps to prevent unauthorised Secure2u activations.
