Overseas Flag for ATM/Debit Card

Activate Overseas Flag

Timeframe:Immediate 

  • Login to Maybank2u
  • Select Card Management
  • Select Overseas ATM Facility
  • Select Activate from the drop down list
  • Key in the Start Date and End Date
  • Select Request for TAC button
  • Key in the TAC number
  • Confirmation Status will be displayed and SMS will be sent to you on the status of the activation

 

ATM

Timeframe:Immediate 

  • Insert ATM card and Pin number
  • Select Other Transaction
  • Select Other Services
  • Select Overseas/Plus ATM Service
  • Select Activate (Temporary)
  • Key in Identity Card Number and confirm
  • Remove ATM Card and take the receipt

Timeframe: Immediate 

  • Dial 1300 88 6688
  • Choose Language
  • Press 0 (Speak to Call Centre Agent)
  • Call Centre Agent to verify caller identity
  • Upon successful verification, call centre agent will activate the ATM/Debit Card Overseas Flag

 

Deactivate Overseas Flag

Timeframe:Immediate 

  • Login to Maybank2u
  • Select Card Management
  • Select Overseas ATM Facility
  • Select Deactivate from the drop down list
  • Click Confirm
  • Confirmation Status will be displayed and SMS will be sent to you on the status of the activation

 

ATM

Timeframe: Immediate 

  • Insert ATM card and Pin number
  • Select Other Transaction
  • Select Other Services
  • Select Overseas/Plus ATM Service
  • Select Deactivate
  • Key in Identity Card Number and confirm
  • Remove ATM Card. Take the receipt
