Give your street food the hype it deserves at the Foodie Hawker Awards 2024

Attention hawkers! Maybank x Good Foodie Media x PayNet are teaming up for the first-ever Foodie Hawker Awards 2024! Confident that you serve up some of the best street food in your state? Then be ready for the ultimate showdown.

We're looking for hawker stalls, street food vendors, and food trucks serving the most mouthwatering food! Now's the time to recognise the best of the best.

To participate and be in the running to earn the title of Best Street Food in your state, simply follow the steps below:

1. Sign up as a QRPayBiz merchant
2. Select your business type as “Hawker”
3. Describe your street food cuisine
4. Finally, be sure to receive at least 200 DuitNow QR payments from your customers.

Psst… If you're not a merchant, join us in celebrating Malaysia's rich culinary heritage by casting your vote for your favourite street eats. Keep a lookout on KLFoodie’s and Maybank’s Instagram page for more info!

1. Roadside F&B stall (including F&B merchants operating from their car boots)
2. Classic Old Kopitiam (multiple individual stalls inside)
3. Medan Selera / Food Court / Hawker Centre
4. Food Truck (stationary, permanent locations)
5. Food Stalls inside Pasar Pagi/Malam

1. Campaign Period: 1 July 2024 - 31 December 2024.
2. Merchants need to be existing/new QRPaybiz merchants that fulfill the eligibility for the campaign.
3. Eligible Merchants who have accepted a minimum of 200 transactions via Scan & Pay will be featured on the designated platform under Foodie.asia, provided by Foodie.
4. During the awards period, members of Foodie.asia are able to vote for the eligible merchants featured on the designated platform to be in the running for Foodie Hawker Awards 2024.
5. Only votes on the designated platform will be eligible.
