MotorTakaful@M2U is an online motor policy renewal facility which is available on maybank2u.com. Our motor policies are underwritten by Etiqa Takaful Bhd, Malaysia's No. 1 Takaful operator, which is also part of the Maybank Group.

2. Why should I renew my motor policy on maybank2u.com?

You can enjoy the ease and convenience, just like doing your online banking transactions.

If you choose to, road tax can also be delivered to you for a minimal fee.

3. Anything else I should know?

We also offer the convenience of multiple payment options and we are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

4. My agent does everything for me, why should I do it online?

The quotation form is designed to make it as simple as possible for you to renew motor policy. In 4 simple steps, your policy can already be renewed.

On top of that, your Road Tax can be delivered to you within 24 hours at only RM8.

5. It’s too complicated. I don’t even know what my Sum Insured is.

Don't worry. On the 2nd step of our quotation page, we will recommend a range of Sum Insured based on your vehicle model. Not only that, we will also verify the NCD of your vehicle for you online.

6. Do I need to go to a Maybank branch to pick up my policy?

No, your policy will be delivered to the address indicated in the quotation page.

7. At the Post Office, my car registration card is updated. What about online?

You can have it updated at any MyEG outlets.

8. I’m currently not insured with Etiqa, do I have to show my car registration at a Maybank Branch?

No, you don't. However, just have a copy with you when you fill up the quotation form as we require your engine cubic capacity, chassis no, engine no and year of make of your car, and your car make and model.

9. What about my Road Tax?

Our motor Takaful quotation page is linked to MyEG. You can opt for your Road Tax to be delivered to you at a very minimal charge.

Depending on your location, your Road Tax can be delivered to you from within 24 hours (in Klang Valley) to a maximum of 5 days.

10. Who should I call if I haven’t received my policy?

You can call us at 1-300-13-8888.

11. What about my Cover Note?

Once your transaction is successful, you will be able to print your eCover Note. This will also be emailed to you.
