1. Who can perform additional ASNB investment through Maybank2u.com?

Additional investment through Maybank2u.com is open to all registered ASNB investors and m2u registered users.

2. What are the requirements to invest in ASNB unit trust via Maybank2u.com?

You must have a valid membership number and NRIC as registered in ASNB record.

3. Can I invest for other 3rd party account via Maybank2u.com?

Yes you can. You are required to key in the 3rd party's membership number and NRIC as registered in ASNB's record.

4. What is the minimum and maximum amount I can invest via Maybank2u.com?

The minimum amount is RM1.00 for ASB, ASW 2020, ASM, ASD, AS 1Malaysia and RM10.00 for ASB 2. The maximum amount will depend on the individual's eligible maximum investment limit (ASB and ASB 2) and fund availability (ASW 2020, ASM, ASD and AS 1Malaysia)

5. Can I invest an amount with sens, for example RM10,001.90?

The investment amount must be to the next Ringgit Malaysia. That means you can invest RM10,001.00 or RM10,002.00. Sen is not accepted.

6. How long will it take for ASNB to process my investment through Maybank2u.com?

Investments that have been successfully received will be processed on the same day and investors can update their ASB account book the following working day (based on Federal Territory working days).

7. Can I manage my ASNB account via the M2U MY app?

Effective 7 October 2022, ASNB account services on the M2U MY app will be moved to the MAE app to provide you with an improved mobile banking experience. This includes:

  • View own and child’s account balance(s)
  • Make transfers to own account(s) via Favourites

 

Download the MAE app from the  Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery for a seamless mobile banking experience.

8. How do I view my ASNB account balance on the MAE app?

Just launch the MAE app and follow these steps:

Step 1: Select Maybank2u’ from the bottom navigation.
Step 2: Log in using your PIN or biometric login.
Step 3: Select the ‘Wealth’ tab from the top navigation.
Step 4: Select ‘ASNB Accounts’ to view your account balance(s).

9. How do I transfer to my own ASNB account via the MAE app?

Your own account(s) will be displayed under Favourites, just launch the MAE app and follow these steps:

Step 1: Select ‘Transfer’ from Quick Actions.
Step 2: Log in with your Maybank2u account.
Step 3: Select the ‘ASNB’ tab from the top navigation.
Step 4: Select your account under ‘Favourites’.
Step 5: Key in the amount and proceed to complete your transfer.

10. Can I withdraw my ASB investment via Maybank2u.com?

At the present time, you can only purchase additional investments via Maybank2u.com. Withdrawal must be done over the counter at Maybank branches, fully operational ASNB offices and at any ASNB agents.

11. Is there any possibility that my transaction can’t be processed by ASNB?

Your online ASB transactions may be unsuccessful due to the following reasons:

  • Invalid ASB membership number 
  • Invalid NRIC number
  •  Total Investment amount has reached the maximum individual limit 
  • Accounts tagged with a specific reason.

12. Will the bank notify me if my transaction is rejected?

Upon request, the bank will send a Payment Confirmation / Credit Advice to inform that the investment has been refunded to your bank account.

13. Can I view my ASB account balance via Maybank2u.com?

This service is not available at the present time. You may check your balance at any Maybank branches, ASNB offices and ASNB agents.

14. What if I had forgotten my ASB membership number?

You may check at any Maybank branches, ASNB offices and other ASNB agents.

15. What happens if I accidently select an invalid account number to invest in?

Your transaction will be rejected by ASNB and the amount invested will be refunded. However, the RM1.00 service fee is non-refundable.

16. Can I make additional ASNB investments at any time of the day?

You can now make ASNB investments to your ASB, AS 1Malaysia and ASB 2 funds at any time and any day of the week via m2u.

Investments made after 5:00pm on business days or on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will be treated as next business day investments. Business days are based on the Federal Territory (Wilayah Persekutuan) calendar.
