How to earn rewards

Earn RM10 for every successful referral! Refer up to 5 people and earn a total of RM50. Here's how:

  1. Your friend or family member must apply for and activate a Current/Savings Account via the MAE app/M2U web during the campaign period.
  2. You must submit details of your friend or family’s activated Account via the online referral form. The form closes on 8 July 2024.
  3. For each successful referral, RM10 will be credited to your salary account within 60 working days of the campaign end date. Limited to the first 10,000 referrals only.

Note: This campaign is for Maybank Group staff in Malaysia only.

Important Notice: Maybank employees are strictly prohibited from using messenger apps such as WhatsApp to promote this campaign, in accordance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines.

For New Maybank Customers

For Existing Maybank Customers

Via the MAE app
  1. Launch the MAE app
  2. Tap Apply at the bottom navigation bar
  3. Select the account to apply for in the ACCOUNTS tab
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application

Notes:

  • The customer will need to scan their MyKad so make sure they have it with them before starting the application steps.
  • To activate their account, they will need to perform an FPX transfer from another bank account registered under their name.
  1. Launch the MAE app
  2. Tap Apply at the bottom navigation bar
  3. Select the account to apply for in the ACCOUNTS tab
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application

Via Maybank2u web
  1. Go to www.maybank2u.com.my
  2. Click APPLY PRODUCTS ONLINE at the top right corner
  3. Select the Account to apply for in the Banking Account tab, and click APPLY NOW
  4. Fill up personal details to complete the application

Note:

Once the account is created, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application and activate their account via the MAE app.
  1. Go to www.maybank2u.com.my
  2. Click APPLY at the top of the screen
  3. Select the Account to apply for in the ACCOUNTS tab and click APPLY NOW
  4. Fill up personal details to complete the application

Note:

Once the account is created, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application and the account will be automatically activated.

Terms & Conditions

  • This campaign is only open to Maybank Group staff (based in Malaysia) and not open to members of the public.
  • Referrers are only allowed to refer candidates who are NOT Maybank Group staff.
  • Each referrer can refer up to 5 candidates for a maximum reward of RM50 (RM10 x 5 candidates).
  • Only the first 10,000 referrals are eligible.
  • Candidates are allowed to open eligible Current/Savings accounts mentioned above.
