I am unable to use the MAE app as it says I will need to grant permission for the app to access certain information. What should I do?

In order for the app to work as intended, you will need to grant permission for the app to access information such as camera, contacts, location, music & audio, notifications and photos & videos. This will help ensure that the app functions well and you will be able to use all of its features. Simply follow the steps below:

Android: Settings > Apps >  MAE app > Permissions > click into each permission > click ‘Allow’

iOS: Settings > MAE app > ensure each permission is toggled on/allowed 


Note for SAMSUNG device users

If you are still unable to use the MAE app even after enabling the above permissions, please disable the ‘Remove permissions if app is unused’ function. This function is auto-enabled for all apps, however you may disable it by following these steps:

Settings > Apps > MAE > Toggle off the ‘Remove permissions if app is unused’ button
