Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I make changes to the MAE app while Secure2u activation (i.e. ATM activation and 12-hour activation period) is in progress?
We highly recommend that you do not uninstall the MAE app, unlink your M2U individual or sole proprietor access, OR change your device while the Secure2u activation process is ongoing to avoid any delays in activating Secure2u.
Do keep in mind, if you:
- Uninstall the MAE app: If you uninstall the MAE app while the Secure2u activation process is ongoing, you'll need to start the Secure2u registration and activation process again once you reinstall the app. This includes going through the ATM activation with the minimum 12-hour activation period again.
- Unlink M2U access from the MAE app: If you unlink your M2U access from the MAE app while the Secure2u activation process is ongoing, you'll need to start the Secure2u registration and activation process again once you relink your access. This includes going through the ATM activation with a minimum 12-hour activation period again.
- Change Devices: Setting up the MAE app to a new device during Secure2u activation requires a complete restart of the process. You'll need to re-register for Secure2u and complete the ATM activation with the minimum 12-hour activation period on your new device.
